ITS Private Cloud | new VSKEY account
VSS users must have a VSKEY account in order to access the vSphere environment and the VSS-VPN .
Once the VSKEY account has been created, the user must set a password.

Step-by-step guide to set your VSKEY password:

  1. Once the VSS team has assigned your username, visit the VSKEY password self-serve page .

  2. Fill in the Login and Mail fields.

  3. Click [ Send ] to submit the request.

    After entering your VSKEY username and your email address you should receive an email from "vss-webadmin@void.utoronto.ca" with the instructions for resetting your password. That "reset VSKEY password" email should arrive promptly so if you have been waiting for a while, please check the place where your email reader puts "Junk" or "Spam" messages.

  4. Click on the URL in the message or cut+paste the URL into a browser
    You will be presented with a web form where you can set your password.

  5. Click [ Send ] to submit the changes.

  6. You should now be able to use your new VSKEY username and password to access the virtualization environment.
